Now for Something Completely Different

I came across my old sketch pad the other day, and was entertained when I saw some of my old drawings from 2004. I thought I would share them here for your amusement. Just as a disclaimer, none of this is original art (that is, I copied all of these from an actual picture) because I'm just not that talented.

This is the cover of the HarperCollins Publishers version of The Magician's Nephew, Book 1 (or 6, depending on what chronology you follow) of the Chronicles of Narnia.

This is the cover of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Book 2/1), same publisher.

I copied this from the book How to Think Like Leonardo Da Vinci. Flowers. Woo.

This was a mail-order dinner plate. A mail-order dinner plate with a dragon on it.

This was off a flier for a talk about Harry Potter at Arkansas Governor's School '04. I found it on the ground, so I sat in the pecan pit at Hendrix College and drew it. I was such a dork...

Finding these has inspired me to try and start drawing again, so if I am actually successful in doing so, and the end result isn't repulsive, I will post it here for giggles. That's all for now!
